Don't do like we did for years and take HK for granted. Come check it out and support! There is not a thing on the menu that isn't amazing. Vegetarian and meat eaters alike!
Ate there last week for the first time after reading all the rave reviews. Had the butter chicken/beef momos. AMAZING! And the spicy fried fish over rice. The service was very attentive and they talked to us about the culture and the butter tea shakers hanging on the walls. A hidden gem in Atlanta. You MUST try it! Will definitely be returning!
This place is a MUST GO! There is ample street parking outside that is free. The place is quite big with lots of tables but coming here on a weeknight this place was FULL. This is a mom and pop place so keep that in mind as I've only ever saw the two owners cooking, taking orders, and bussing tables. However, there is GREAT QUICK NICE service always! She is always so cheerful, answers questions, and refills your waters attentively. The food comes out fairly quickly as well. We've gotten the butter curry momos and tibeten spicy momos. Pro strategy is get half chicken and half beef. Last time we were there they sold out of beef! Momos are a MUST here and you won't leave unhappy. We also grabbed some chicken chow mein and it was amazing. Definitely a place I love and will continue going back!
This place is truly a hidden gem Cannot believe we've lived in Smyrna for 5 years and just discovered the Himalayan Kitchen! You really cannot go wrong with anything on the menu, but some of our most favorite items are the Chicken Thukpa Soup, Special Chowmein, Chicken Fried Rice, and Beef Steamed Momo! The Momos take the cake for the best thing - but if you are looking for a great value, order the combo plate. This comes with the steamed momo, chicken fried rice and a soda for 16.95!
Tried the butter chicken momo and the tibetan spicy momos both were very tasty loved! Food was hot, fresh, and spicy. The restaurant was clean and felt cozy I would recommend for Momos

The sheer ecstasy I felt when first biting into the Tibetan spicy momo with potato filling is something I wish for every person who is considering visiting Himalayan Kitchen. This establishment truly lives up to their name of BEST DUMPLINGS IN ATL!! Not only is the food fresh and oh so very flavorful, but it is also ready in a very timely manner. The inside of the restaurant was beautifully decorated and very clean. The service?? Quick and efficient! Will DEF be back. (Side note: do urself a favor and grab a mango lassi, literallyyy so tasty so delicious you won't regret it) .

I've been wanting to go to this place for so long and am so glad I finally got the chance to go! I thought they had closed down permanently and was so sad but was excited to see they were only closed temporarily. Their Tibetan Spicy Momo was DELICIOUS. The skin of the momos were so chewy and slippery, which sounds weird but trust me, it was amazing. The sauce was also really good. It came with 8 momos and we were able to get half chicken and half beef. I got the beef thukpa, which was really good, I liked the noodles a lot, but I thought the broth was a little bland. It could've used more spices and salt. Our server was great. She was really nice and funny and super efficient. Great ambiance as well. I will definitely be coming here again for their moms!
I genuinely stumbled upon this place and decided to post about it on my food instagram. It blew up, and so has their business! I encourage everyone to be patient with the small staff of two as they iron out the increased demand. If you are kind & don't mind waiting, you will NOT be disappointed. Their Momos are worth every second of anticipation
